Tonight's activity demonstrated how vulnerable our kids really are. When I was growing up all of my friends parents were married and nearly all of the moms stayed home. But today....well I know the number of students in my room spend nearly every afternoon and some even spend the evenings too alone...or tending to one or more of the younger siblings. I've had kids fall asleep because they stayed awake until their parents came home in the middle of the night. So sad.....
